Hometown Craftsmanship

I want to connect and share about how this all started and a little about me, Andrew, the owner/operator of this business. So first, an introduction, my name is Andrew Barbra and I run Shy Valley Woodwork. I am a former graduate of Glenvar High School. I created this business because I wanted to share my creativity with people and hopefully inspire others to express their on. My Glenvar High School woodshop teachers, Mr. John Franklin and Mr. Mike Beamer are the people I want to thank for helping me get started on this fun little journey I’ve made for myself. A large thanks also needs given to the wonderful Ms. Ava Teaney, as she was not only my first customer, but has helped immensely with creating a brand for myself. As for what we do, currently we specialize in custom pens and pencils, but there are some new projects and possibly merchandise coming in the near future. What we do differently here at SVWW is let you (the customer) decide on everything, that way you get exactly what you want with the local charm of a small business.
